Deborah has been sewing for as long as she can remember. Inspired and taught by her mother at a young age, she pursued her interest and trained as a teacher of Textiles and needlework, teaching in Secondary schools for 20 years. Deborah decided to leave the profession to raise a family and worked from home making bespoke soft furnishings. Once her children left Primary school Deborah started teaching Soft Furnishings for Kent Adult Education, and, as sewing began to gain popularity, started offering classes at local workshops.

What does Deborah do now?

Deborah will expertly make your soft furnishings, in your own fabrics, from curtains and blinds, to cushions and loose covers.
She will visit your home to measure and advise on design and suitability of fabrics, and will hang and fit the furnishings once completed.
